thank you. You're the first teacher i've seen that was annoyed by these (or any) cancellations.
Even if it is for selfish reasons.
You haven’t been paying attention, then.

link, homie. Otherwise, I still have yet to see any educator or bureaucrat say one fricking thing about the disservice this is doing to "the children". I"ve heard a ton of deflection from that same group about why or who is making the decisions. But its been crickets when it comes to saying these decisions are having deleterious affects on the student's education.

Not sure why you think it’s just EBR schools. It’s state agencies and schools/colleges across Louisiana

After dealing with said state agencies and the utter incompetence they entail a permanent closure and outsourcing would be beneficial for everyone. LA State offices I have dealt with have been an absolute nightmare during Covid and were hardly bastions of productivity prior to it.

We have a ton of people who've never stepped foot in the classroom, designed curriculum, or anything related to school in charge now. It is becoming a business where people spend two years and look for the next step up.

I’m not doing your research for you, I know what I’ve said in the past. In this very thread I’ve said that there’s no reason to cancel school tomorrow.

Zachary canceled the next two days too. LSU Lab will be open.

Central was closed the last 2 days, but said to hell with it. We going to school Wednesday. Last 2 days were nice, and tomorrow/Thursday look to mimic what we had with Rita.

Doesn’t fit the narrative.

Got my lessons ready to go for virtual learning tomorrow. Finishing up Factoring, specifically special cases and solving quadratics by Factoring.
