Easy Times Create Weak Men

Have you ever heard the saying, “Hard times create strong men, easy times create weak men”? Is this why there are so many people in this country who would fail miserably if they were ever really put to the test?
When is the last time that times were really difficult in our country? The Depression? WWII? People that grew up in those times knew what it was like to struggle, and came out stronger. Things in America have gotten easier and easier, and I feel like it’s created a nation of weak willed people.
