I personally know someone who was the first school employee on the scene after hallway fight turned into a shooting (at a local BR HS).

That is how you break up a fight. You have no idea who's got a gun, knife or other weapon they're about to pull out.

You said it twice, and it wasn't true either time.

Is this your sentiment when it is the cop getting the horns?

Yeah right. That's why the cop walked away after he slammed him

cracks me up how this is a choke slam.. Do any of you idiots know what a choke slam is?? CHOKE.

What he should have done is ask him nicely to stop fighting and if he didnt listen politely tell him to sit indian style

I don't see a problem. The deputy was black.

This may be getting totally blown out of proportion. We absolutely have no idea what happened prior to the video being turned on. What if this "child" was hitting the deputy? What if this "child" was beating the hell out of another "child" and needed to be restrained? The deeper issue here is how the EBR Public School System allows all of these "children" to gather at a single location and act like a bunch of heathens. I don't see a single teacher around in the video....Do you want to know why? How about because the teachers are scared to death that they will get the hell beat of themselves if they try to break it up - so...they have to call law enforcement! Give me a break....

I'm glad there are police that actually put their lives on the line to deal with that shite.

picked him up and dropped him. Gravity did the slamming.

I love arguments like this.

It's not the shooter that killed the guy, it was the bullet inside the gun. Even then it's mostly on the gunpowder exploding.

Damn, that cop is a big dude...

The last thing I'd want to be is security at a BR public middle school...

I love how the woman didn't want her face shown on TV because she thought the Sheriff's would retaliate against her. Really?

I'm not seeing a problem.

I think the cop picked up little guy not knowing how tiny he really was.. then dropped him..

But I think this group of kids fighting needed to be shown force or they weren't going to stop.. shite, that little kid got right back up and looked as if he was about to make a bad mistake and jump back in..

This group had no respect for the authority and the cops were shutting it down

It's a fight...at a jr high...in EBR....this cop acted totally within bounds. Cut the bullshite out quick by making a statement. The kid could have gotten hurt during the actual fight, and if EBRLEO didn't break it up quick enough, we would be hearing their blame.

A black EBR principal once warned me to not try and teach in the middle/jr high school scene due to old arse kids being held back, bad arse kids forced to go to school, and older drop outs wandering near campuses due to family members, crime, or drama.

No telling what would have happened if officer Zeus didn't come through.
