Worked at a bar in Lafayette. One night I was talking with the detail cop we had assigned that night when we had to ask a guy that was sleeping on the bar to leave. He stumbled out and stood about 10ft from the cop. Cop and I started talking again and the cop was looking at the guy. Guy reached in his pocket and pulled out a script bottle. Proceeded to dump a handful of pills that were different colors and before the cop could get close he downed them. Cop says “What ya got there buddy?” Guy: “OxyContin and Valium.” Cop: “Those yours?” Guy: “Nope.” Cop: “Want a ride home?” Guy: “Sure.” Cop just opened the back seat to his cop car and hauled him down to the station. Lol
