The video and audio is shite, but those fist shots definitely don’t sound like they came from a pistol.

The driver obviously lied when he told the police he shot first.

What’s the legal justification for the second shooter being released? The driver was no longer a threat if he was fleeing.

Hard to tell if he’s or driving away or towards another shooter. Articles aren’t clear about that.

90% of all the videos I've seen of horrible people rioting and looting are skinny white dudes and fat, ugly white chicks.

Sounds like 2 different guns being shot. And there is witness testimony from all over the place saying two people shot. The driver and another concealed carrier who shot at the car (this guy should get charged, you can't just shoot at a fleeing vehicle). Especially in a downtown scenario with buildings and a person running away so getting a completely different location to record sound, it easily could both be pistols. No one, even the driver stated that the rifle was shot.

not reading all 13 pages.

If you are in a vehicle and someone approaches you with a rifle pointing at your face, are you allowed to open fire?

What is really important, was everyone wearing masks and maintaining appropriate social distance?

Think of others people.

So, what is it. AK guy shot or not? Did he even point the ak at the driver? If he did, the driver had full right to protect himself. Pointing a gun at someone even without firing it, is justified for someone to shoot.

I'm all for the guy in the car protecting himself. I just think it's crazy when people seem to try to invent additional things to fit their agenda. The agenda seems to already be pretty supported here. Dumbass protester with a gun aimed gun at a guy....then got shot for it.

I could be completely wrong as I am not reading all these pages either. But all of the news reports I read so far never mention the rifle being shot. The audio sounds like 2 guns and the police confirmed 2 shooters. Just don't understand why people try to make more of a situation.

Everything I've read said the guy that got shot didn't fire his weapon. It was the driver of the car and then some one else fired at th car as it does away.

Sucks cause people died. Be nice if there was a way for people to just eat a mushroom like Mario and grow and be an adult instead of a subhuman.

Yes, if you feel your life is in danger.

The problem is we haven't seen a picture showing him actually pointing the gun. The ones I've seen are showing it pointed down, and looking really damn close to him shouldering it, but obviously it's a picture not a video and you can't see him bringing it fully up.

Do you really have to ask that question?

I was thinking the same. That picture didn't show what I expected to see but who knows if he had pointed it just afterwards. At baseline, it's a really bad idea to run up on a car that's being engulfed by an angry mob while holding a rifle, it tends to make people jumpy to say the least.
