When you don't believe that something exists because there is no evidence that it does, your decision is based on evidence and reasoning. No one would seriously describe a statement like "There are no leprechauns in my house" as based on faith.
Claiming that something does exist despite there being no evidence for it and claiming that something does not exist because there is no evidence for it are not equivalent statements. We don't have to give both of them the same level of credibility.
In our normal, day to day lives, we don't treat claims made with no evidence seriously because we know that the scientific way of looking at the world is an effective way to judge claims. It's not the same thing as believing a claim based on a feeling or someone else's authority or tradition.

Does the fact that hordes of Christians aren’t gathering up to behead this cocksmoker and his entire family not count toward the existence of God? God most certainly exists, and most of the people who sling shite about him not existing should be on their knees, thanking him for it. Yeah, God exists. The fact that fricks like this, and millions more who revel in shitting on people’s core beliefs without paying the price, is proof positive of that fact.

There are plenty of religions that won't kill if they are ridiculed. how the frick is that proof of a god? All it's proof of is that most Christians are peaceful people. it doesn't prove that your god is real. it doesn't prove creation. all it proves is that Christianity is a somewhat peaceful system of beliefs (now, historically it has been very violent) that a lot of folks find appealing. as david the gnome pointed out, you left out the middle ages. Hell, look at the protestant reformation. the spanish inquisition. Christianity was used as a justification of slavery at one point. indigenous people have been all but wiped out while using your god as a justification for it. Manifest Destiny was viewed as god's will. there are countless atrocities committed in the name of your god. Missionaries carry disease to tribes because omg they need jesus.
