Dutchtown High School evacuated following chemical odor

GEISMAR, La. (WAFB) - A large presence of first responders and emergency crews are on scene at Dutchtown High School after reports of a strong chemical odor.
The reports started coming in around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5.
Sources say students were complaining of headaches and nausea. It was unknown how many patients were being treated.
A spokesperson for Ascension Parish School System says parents were notified via robocalls.
The school was evacuated out of an abundance of caution.
WAFB has a crew en route.

Two kids around the 2002-2004 timeframe started drawing up a plan to orchestrate a mass shooting. Seems more bluster than actual planning but the school was alerted and the kids were arrested.

Just got the call. My kid is one of the ones affected. Picking him up now. Nothing too serious just headache/nausea

They were really good friends with a neighbor kid of mine. Very weird kid at the time but he kinda grew out of it. I was not shocked at all to hear they were so close with him knowing the crew he hung with.
