They were really good friends with a neighbor kid of mine. Very weird kid at the time but he kinda grew out of it. I was not shocked at all to hear they were so close with him knowing the crew he hung with.
I know a lot of people in that group.
One of them is an army vet.
I never met the other guy.

The kid is fine.
FWIW I agree with y’all. This was all BS. Frustrating day but nobody said being a parent is 100% sunflowers and butterflies.
