I have a really dumb question about the border wall controversy. Please blast me however you want.
If Trump is so hellbent on having a Mexican border wall and think that will stop illegal immigrants, what stops those Mexicans from floating over via the Gulf or the Pacific?

There is already a huge wall that they easily get by/over in parts of the country. It will slow them down but they will find a way.

It won’t stop them because that’s not how they come here in the first place. They drive right through like normal people and just don’t go home when they’re supposed to.

Let the National Guard do their 2 weeks of training there. Rotate a new group in every two weeks. Chasing down drug smugglers and illegals would be better training than doing jumping jacks on a military base.
