I took a few substance abuse awareness classes to get some underaged drinking charges off my record while I was at LSU. Me and one of the girls in my class smoked a bowl everyday in my truck on our lunch break.

Is the 3rd DUI mandatory jail time?
I keep seeing articles in the paper or on line about someone's 3rd or 4th DUI How the hell are they still driving or not in jail?

1 to 5 years in prison.

45 days of that is mandatory

A 3rd DUI can be prosecuted as a felony in some states if all 3 offenses occurred in less than 10 years. You better get yourself a lawyer.
