Dudes who move around in packs

I was walking down the street the other day and I saw 9 dudes walking down the street in a large pack. All of them with the same haircut. All with them the same sunglasses. All of them wearing similar clothing.
I wanted to yell a warning in the other direction that “The Italians are coming.”
But I just don’t get it. I got a disturbing sense that those dudes weren’t individuals.
It’s just kinda weird to me.
