I'm pretty pro law enforcement but that wasn't really necessary. If he beat up a girl he's certainly a POS but wasn't much of a threat in this situation.

What was dude at the end in black shorts doing moving up behind cop doing? Trying to help cop by holding guys legs? Admirable intent, but not sure if good idea at that point?
Wish video was longer on both sides of time frame.
Can't imagine being a lone officer trying to take down a drunk in the midst of a bunch of other drunks with the crowd shouting critiques of techique.

Whenever I see a video of somebody getting punched in the face while complying and doing nothing wrong, ill then say the cop is dumb and should be punished.

That's an absolutely awful thing to do but the cop could have hemmed up Urkel without punching him. What if it was the wrong person? Careful what you wish for.

There was a video recently posted that showed 3 cops holding down a suspect and one knocked his head into the concrete. I thought the cop was wrong.
In this case, the cop is alone and trying to get the kids hand behind his back but can’t. I think the cop probably took it a little too far, but since he was alone and couldn’t get the arm, I’ll give him a pass.
