Drug derived from floor stripper?

This story is straight outta Sylacauga AL.
Was talking with a buddy recently. We're both in commercial roofing but work for different companies. We get the worst of the worst of employees.
He was telling me he had to fire a guy we both have had as an employee over the years. The employee fell asleep on a roof for over an hour and they couldn't wake him up. This guy has a history of using but lately has been getting high off what they call "water". It's extracted somehow from floor stripper and they drink it. Never heard of that before. Man that's low.
I hate drugs and what it's doing to our country.

Probably GVL but possibly GBL or BDO. These are all industrial solvents as well as chemical precursors or cousins to GHB. Hopefully they get some help, all of those can be very dangerous, especially if taken alongside other CNS depressants.
