Just for comparison purposes, what type crowd is expected during the pandemic on a Tuesday lunch time?

I ate out last Thursday at Zea for lunch. By comparison, they had at least 10 tables that I saw occupied while going to be seated.

There aren’t a lot of cars because that place is awful. It would look like that without the political message. The food and service are atrocious

If you're going to pander, at least pander to the crowd that can afford your price point.

Seems like common sense but maybe he thought BLM would give him some of that celeb money?

Whoops.

Willie's is a few blocks away and has far better food, atmosphere and service. My wife and I ate there once about a month or two after it opened and haven't been back since.

I haven’t been to boil & roux but have heard mostly mid to negative things. Went to Willie’s a couple of times and thought it wasn’t bad, but wasn’t good either.

they never last right there, but I can't really figure out why.

It's not the easiest to get to. Unless you are driving down Coursey going from Stumberg to Sherwood, you can't just turn into the parking lot. Coursey has dividers right there, so if you're coming the other direction or turning onto Coursey from Sherwood, you have have to go down Coursey, make a u-turn, and come back to get to the restaurant. If you know the area, you can also turn off of Sherwood by the Wendy's to get to it.

That's it. There are no other ways to get to that building. The neighborhoods nearby don't really connect well to Coursey or Sherwood, so you have to get on Sherwood or Coursey farther away and drive all the way to that intersection. There just aren't any other convenient ways to really approach that building.

We should all go and order the best stuff on the menu. Then, send it back after we’ve had a little over half and say it sucks/we want our money back.

Record it all and post to Facebook or YouTube. Whatever in the frick little gay SJW website has the most douche bags.

Have you ever been there? A BLM mural isn’t going to alienate their customer base. It might be the blackest business between I-10 and i-12 in BR. It’s like stepping into Harlem.

IIRC, that Walkons moved to the current location by Whole Foods off Corporate which had been a former Mugshots.

I have fewer answers for the rest of the locations which died there like O’Charlie’s

just that general crossroads is what I'm talking about I guess.

Shenandoah, white coat landing, hickory ridge, other middle and upper middle class hoods surround that area, yet lots of places that try it out just fall apart.

albasha is great. the thai place is good. golden corral has survived and is not good. but that sherwood/coursey 4 corners is a cursed spot for restaurants in general

Not all business is done on-site.

Offices will order out through Major Menus and other services. When people see certain restaurants on the rotation, they say “I can do better elsewhere”.
