To feel safer you should slow down some and then probably get in the left lane so you aren't coming up on cars so often.

The interstate is mostly oblivious people that won't get out of the left lane. I see a greater range of insane moves driving around town.

I’ll tell you what grinds my gears. Two tractor trailers in each lane and it take the one on the left 2 miles to pass

No, just lost my nerve to travel like I use to. I’ve never put my freaking hazards on.

Why? What caused this? I can’t imagine not traveling. I love long road trips.

I will go whatever pace the car in front of me is going in the left lane. Won't tailgate and wont drive aggressively. But ill go 90 or 95 if the car in front if me is cruising.

Im at a point where risking my life or someone else's or a scenario where i have to pull a firearm to save 5 minutes isnt worth it to me.

I wouldn’t say I lost my nerve, but one night I deviated from my regular routine home and took an alternate route. That same night around the time I’m normally making my exit off the interstate, an 18 wheeler hit and killed a fairly young girl at my exit. This happened probably 5 or 6 years ago and I still take the alternate route home.

It just dawned on me how often I think back to that night. That poor kid

Michigan is packed with construction everywhere and I am driving a lot for work. Lots of white knuckle situations with a concrete barrier one foot away from me on one side and a semi one foot away from me on the other. Throw in most pickups going 95 mph and it's tough out there, especially if you're tired.
