re: Driver enraged over slow truck in left lane totals car trying to pass on shoulder.

I'm changing my opinion on the white Ford truck driver and, to a lesser extent, the black Chevy SUV driver. They both brake check the Honda a couple of times and appear to be matching speed, preventing anyone from passing. Then later on, the Ford accelerates (to the point where you can see additional exhaust from the back of the truck) when he notices that the Honda is passing on the shoulder, then tries to use the other car in the right lane to block the Honda from passing again.
I still think the Honda is being crazy, but an experienced driver should know to diffuse encounters like this on the road given how dangerous a situation can get.
Let the crazy person get around you and keep everyone alive. Report their license to state police. That's the appropriate action. Don't escalate it and endanger yourself and other drivers.
Honda wins the a-hole Gold Metal for passing on the shoulder. Hopefully no one else was in that car with them. That is the exact kind of attitude that you should not have when driving.
Ford gets the Silver for matching speed of right lane initially to block the Honda, then escalating this by brake checking and trying to cut the Honda off yet again right before the accident.
Black Chevy SUV earlier in video gets the bronze....and a very distant one at that.
Ford and Honda both caused that accident and put other drivers at risk. Screw both of them.

pretty dumbass on the drivers' part but truck drivers are some of the worst drivers I see on the roads, they make me pretty mad, but not mad enough for that

The Honda driver is 100% at fault, almost hit other vehicles before the video started. Maybe some of you are similar tPOS's on the road so that's why you're jumping to his defense.

I would never have taken to the shoulder…but I’d have hit a gap so fricking fast, by down shifting and flooring it, that truck driver couldn’t do shite. shite drivers can get fricked.

Speaking of 12, how there is not a service road on each side of the interstate connecting 190 and 21 is criminal. That would keep A TON of local traffic off the interstate.

If you’re modulating speed so I can’t get by you, we’re about to go. This isn’t taking long once I get a gap. I’m not even mad. My car only has 230 hp, but you damn well know I’m anticipating it and I’m gone. I don’t don’t even stick around for the road rage.

Leave that poster out of this. Also, NJ roads are garbage, the only thing you would have hit is a big pothole on your way to the guardrail.

pulled off the shoulder move. failed during the lane change attempt.

Bet that New Jerseyan was surprised his car could flip over.

White pickup truck and silver Honda driver both endangered other people's lives. It's a highway, not a race track. I hate it when people act like complete jackasses on the highway like this. This could have easily caused a pile up and injured or even killed innocent people.
If you see an impatient driver, don't add more danger to the situation by brake checking them or trying to block them from passing. Share the road and stop being a jerk to other drivers, even if they deserve to be treated like the POS that they are.

The truck driver tried to kill him too, so there’s that NJ wrinkle as well.

I wish I could consider that you're kidding.
Such a nerdy douche.

Don't see anyone defending the Honda driver.
The drivers of both the white truck and the Honda driver should have their licenses suspended IMO.

frick you. These types of people who pass on the right to squeeze in a 10 foot gap between 18 wheelers are the true hazards
