If you drink half of a 5-hour energy, do you have half the energy boost for 5 hours or the full boost for 2.5 hours?

Gotta give energy drink companies the props they deserve. They have successfully mind fricked tens of millions of people in to giving them $3-5 for a bogus "energy" drink. Most of which buy them on a weekly or even daily basis.

The funniest ones are the 16oz Monster "hydration" drinks that are priced at $3.29 while a .99 cent, 32oz Gatorade is sitting right beside it.

Day Surgery Hospital I managed a Dept. for in Fort Worth used to stock Energy Drinks and Energy Shots (the little one gulp like 5-hour brand) of all brands anyone requested, in large quantities.

Think about how jittery those things make you. Now remember it was a SURGERY center. And nurses giving follow up meds by injection too.

Did you even bother reading? Clearly gave the energy drink companies the props they deserve.

The fact is people will spend a silly amount of extra money on anything with a gimmick. Energy drink companies capitalized on it.

I did read, I was just giving you a hard time. They have great marketing and are clearly using the placebo affect in their favor.

Not a bad idea.

Coffee and Powerade(not mixed up) is my hangover cure.

An energy drink, particularly 5 hour energy, is nothing like Gatorade. But you spouted your ignorance with extreme gusto!

A few buddies and I each drank 10 of them as a bet in college.

This is no bullshite, it was like taking too much adderall. Heart palpitations. Couldn't sleep for a legitimate 36-48 hours.

Drank beer and just could not power theough to a buzz.
