Because then they don’t have something to complain about.

Simple problems are simply solved and women don’t want problems to be solved.

Guess it would be too simple to complain about things being too simple?

I do not even understand outdoor cocktail party.

Of course we do not do that gay shite in Texas. You can wear jeans to anything here.

It's deeper than that. Their brains require constant input which is why they get so bored with concepts so easily and require a constant stream of new ideas/change. So, to make it more appropriate for OP, you get all these slight changes (cocktail becomes outdoor/indoor cocktail becomes outdoor/indoor cocktail chic/normal) for no real, rational reason.

Clearly these statement are generalizations and there are outliers.

I went to an outdoor wedding once and it said "cocktail attire". I had no clue what that meant so I looked it up and it basically suggested that I wear a suit. Seemed like a pretentious way to say dress normally to me

There are entire blogs and shite dealing with outdoor cocktail attire. Just dress like it's the Kentucky Derby.

Its all a trap for the women to laugh at other women anyway.
