Indeed it could be many things that are not life threatening. (Spider bites could be life threatening, though).
Especially if the dog just all of a sudden started feeling bad.
OP, don't give up on the pup too quickly, sometimes there are some long term solutions that may help Fifi live out several more years with some medication

She had a tumor rupture and is bleeding internally surgery would only prolong life for a couple of months max. Seems like I would be making the decision for surgery for my selfish reasons and not her. I could tell by the look in her eyes that she is ready to give up. I will be with her through the end and let her know she was the best dog. Still not sure how to tell a 4 yo that jess won’t be coming home anymore
