He may be a hack but I think he is right. They had a huge cluster of respiratory infection cases in Mandeville right before Mardi Gras. I was in an Urgent Care with a family member who had a fever and bad cough. NP at the place said he had seen 40 patients that day with same symptoms. He also said the other urgent care on 22 was reporting the same thing. Treated symptoms and it clears up about a week later.

To be honest he’s right. We haven’t been testing. But some people here will take his words to mean there have been hundreds of thousands of cases in the country so far. They are thinking the cold they have last month was COVID. It’s simply not true.
We have genetic tracing where they can go back and tell us exactly where a case came from and when.
