know my family wore masks while visiting my wife's 85 year old grandparents back in April

That makes sense & I support

She is saying you would need to wear masks in your home if your wife’s grandparents lived with y’all

I know.

I don't know how we would handle that situation. I'm sure we would let the grandparents decide what they were comfortable with. It isn't some absurd recommendation though.

Luckily I don't have to worry about that.

So the elders in multi generational homes would be safer if their family wasn’t stuck inside with them more often.

Right?

"If you're in multi-generational households, and there's an outbreak in your rural area or in your city, you need to really consider wearing a mask at home, assuming that you're positive, if you have individuals in your households with comorbidities."

Y’all are still missing the above part of her statement. Two conditions when you should consider wearing masks at home: 1) you’re covid positive; AND 2) You live with a vulnerable person. This shouldn’t be controversial or newsworthy.

That’s coming next.
F all these people.

All this is reasonable as long as the government stays out of it:

A/C off, mask on and you can't leave..... let's see is there anything else we can do to make people fricking miserable

Can't go to the bar, don't go hang out with your friends, no football, don't dare be proud or celebrate anything that has to do with the white race right now.

Just stay inside, be a complete fake arse licker and apologize to the black race for stuff you didn't do. Wear a mask, be a hermit. And stop watching sports. And oh yeah, I know we have two political parties but you're a piece of shite unless you follow one of the two. Did I miss anything?

Nothings like medical bureaucrats who probably haven’t actually practiced clinical medicine in 30 years, who weren’t elected and therefore can’t be held accountable, making decisions for EVERY SINGLE CITIZEN in the country.

Friend,

Mother and I, and when Uncle is here, wear masks indoors. Because one of us gets it does not mean all of us should get it. Since inter-ecos transmission is the most common mode of transmission, and masks help prevent infection, it is sensible to wear a mask inside the home.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Friend,
Tell mother she is welcome to wear a mask inside her home as often as she desires. I, however, will not be wearing one in my home; visiting uncle or not.

Yours,
Legend

P.S. It would surely be delightful if we, your faithful readers on the OT, could get a candid snapshot of Mother. It would surely serve to lift the morose spirits of this often vile place of virtual gathering.
