I got one after 9/11. It was a nfl team plate <-- that's where it went bad, I guess any way. The tag was GR8US for great united states however I'm pretty confident for most people, it read said team is the greatest... I pulled the tag and it hangs in my man cave.
Funny thing I just purchased a new truck and my issued tag's first three letters is "IYB" I rolled when I saw it and instantly thought of the Rant.

This is spot on. Some of the welthiest people I know live in very nice but average sized homes and drive Tahoes or something similar. You'd never know their wealth by looking at them.
