My parents are in that "spike" and they are vaccinated....and the dr. that tested them said there is NO test to know if this is a variant or not. So how can they report anything other than just covid?

F the government. The hospitals will never be overwhelmed, there is no need for any restrictions or actions. Never was.

Masks are coming back indoors including all schools. Book it. I’m still not wearing one but they’re coming back. Also probably just in time for LSU football. Masks in the stadium.

This is article is from two days ago but says of the 70 people hospitalized at Oschner roughly 98% weren’t vaccinated. Of course, if that’s all Oschners across the state then that’s not a large number of hospitalizations but like I said the article is two days old.
