Federalist 51 is a good place to read up on why structuring our country to protect against the tyranny of the majority Is paramount.

You wrap your self in a veneer or npr taking points that of course melts away when the slightest amount of fact and reason is thrust upon you.

I know people personally who believe that Trump is literally an angel of god. They think that their political beliefs are backed by the bible, so that they cannot be wrong. They think that democrats are literally agents of satan. I'm not making this up.

The EC was not created to protect against tyranny of the majority. It was part of a compromise on many issues, not the least of which was giving slave-owners power over their slaves' voices. It made their votes count more without granting slaves suffrage or freedom.
It was a compromise made in different times under different circumstances. Funny that you are determined to preserve such a system by twisting old wisdom to suit your argument, yet you seemingly see no value in the greater wisdom of the founders that gave us the power to mold our government with the times.

Seems to me as of the slave-owning compromise portion has been addressed. Why cite that as as reason to scrap the institution that even you admit was effected to address "many issues"?

Honestly, that's good advice.
Take precautions if you are vulnerable or work with a vulnerable population. Get back to normal if you are not over 50 with a respiratory condition.
