Gotta go to that Gucci Brookshires on Line Ave.

The ghetto Brookshires is good for a can of cranberry sauce and domestic violence in the parking lot if you're in a bind on Thanksgiving.

Don's is a seafood restaurant for the elderly with worn out taste buds.

they had decent food back in the day, Cajun food isn't extravagant, fancy, nor hard to cook, it was "invented" by poor people with little resources as a way to make a little food go a long way

This has insurance fraud written all over it. That restaurant has been closed for well over 10 years.

That area has potential, but it's going down the shitter quick. Even the cheveron across the street from Don's closed.

At least there are some trying to invest instead of bitching on social media. Fat Calf Brasserie is excellent, I have several clients looking to invest or already are doing heavy remodels to homes in the area around Kings. One of Shreveport's biggest obstacles is a dedicated and vocal population of lazy ignorants who have the means to make things better but don't.

At one time old money Shreveport would give old money New Orleans a run for snobbery and pretentiousness. They've all died now and their kids and grandkids moved to Dallas.
