i really don't know why politicians tour disaster areas. It is only a photo op and creates headaches for all the people cleaning up.

Because they're politicians. And politicians are pieces of human shite.

I was watching NBC nightly news and people are pissed that Barry hasn't made an appearance. His spokesman, said he's golfing, and is paying attention of the events.

lol, this guy is such a fricking schmuck.

I don't care what a candidates' political affiliation is...I think it is never acceptable to pander for votes by "being seen" at natural disasters. If you can help, then come and help...but if they are simply trying to be seen there, they can stay their asses somewhere else.

Obama or Trump? Regardless, I agree. But Obama at least did what a President is supposed to do in this situation, and that's allow Federal aid to start flowing. I don't want him or any other politician coming down for a quick photo op to push their political bullshite in the face of such strife. What exactly would Obama strolling through ravaged neighborhoods and taking pictures accomplish? I mean, besides put a further strain on law enforcement having to protect the damn leader of the free world. Would it really make you feel better that he's here if you think he's such a schmuck?

Nah. He's coming round where there will be much rebuilding goin' on to give seminars on how to bilk contractors.

He's promising one on one convos with him again after $3,000 is ponied up by participants.

Too bad it isn't April. He was leading the polls back then. Now Hillary has a commanding lead and will prevail in November.

Dumb question maybe: what kind of security do the final presidential candidates have? Will this disrupt a lot of roads similar to when Obama visited? Or is it mild in comparison?

I disagree. Obama is taking a lot of slack for not personally visiting and with the amount of media coverage Trump generates, he is sure to bring more attention to Louisiana's plight. That will lead to more support from the rest of the country in one way or another.
