Hindsight thing: 20/20. And the problem is the game was postponed because Foley kept Sankey on a string until it was too late instead of being willing to be open to a day/time slot in Gainsville that would have been amenable to all parties. ...

Yeah I caught the remarks about "both sides acting like petulant children." I just don't see that though for LSU's side.
UF came out posturing with their release indicating that the game would be played at Gainesville.
I don't know if that release was before or after the offer to play at LS...

According to Adam Reardon, sports radio personality in Fla., Foley was "set off" by Alleva offering to play the game in Baton Rouge.
He was just interviewed by Moscona.
Guess that was the first offer, and after that, UF decided to keep leveraging until it was too late to come up with a work...
