people who prattle on about how nefarious circumstances change the act are the same ones who loathe hate crime laws (rightfully so)

murder is the most objectionable act one can commit. unless you're temporarily nuts or some other crazy circumstance (finding a guy diddling your child) no one should give a shite why you did it, other than the fact that you did it.

motive only matters in determining guilt. Now we judge how horrific the murder is on the 1 to 10 scale

Bro....NOLA and BR aren't just like everywhere.

I can walk in the worst part of Portland and I'll be like what up to the few blacks we have in this fine state.

When I visit LA I watch my back when in the city. Whole different ballgame.

Did you just use Portland as your example? A city that is almost 80% white?

If memory serves, the standard response to any criticism of New Orleans has always involved "but Atlanta", "but Houston", or "but Baton Roooge!!!!"

It's kind of sad how nothing ever changes back home.

New Orleans deserves all the criticism it gets. The problem is it's not just unique to New Orleans. Like I said earlier, any city/town/county/whatever that has a large indigent population will have crime. It's been that way since the beginning of time.

I wish we could. The problem is they're like terrorists. You kill 10 and there's 1000 ready to take their place.

Major cities in general, and even more so for New Orleans than most major cities, aren't for everyone. I could never foresee myself living more than 20 minutes from one.

We need to eliminate the problem areas. This is really ashame. The sad thing is nothing will be so done. Maybe a storm will finish it off

I'd love to lead the charge.
We could call it a tour in thugville.
Or Perhaps the purge?
Or the cleansing.

There's a few precedents set as far as cutting off an area for pizza delivery. When the first nice subdivision popped up south of Gardere on Nicholson, we'd deliver there but not to the north side of gardere between Nicholson and Burbank. We'd go to Old Hermitage but not directly across the street. People would call bitching but didn't do shite except come pick their pizza up from store.

I delivered pizza for a little while. On our map, we blacked out almost all of Gardere, wouldn't deliver there at all. I went on a delivery to one house that wasn't blacked out. When I got out of my car, the pit bull was already in the air. Chain around his neck caught him.

Ghetto queen tipped me, then bitched about the delivery charge and took the tip out of my hand. I went back to the store and scratched the whole neighborhood off the map.
