There's nothing more refreshing than a nice warm peanut butter milk stout after you finishing cutting grass on a hot day

Right, I'm just saying their preference may be a mental one and not one based in the taste of the beer.

They taste different though, so how can you say this?

If you can't pick out the one you prefer, it's hard to claim you like that one better than the others based on taste.

Being a piney woods east tx product we didn't discriminate on brand or even temperature. Hell, some cans may not have any paint left having been found under the old Better Built diamond plate.

But if he wants Bud Light, I surely wouldn't judge him. I don't judge a man on beer, food or clothes. None of my biz I've learned.

This is you being a docuhebag. Your average guy does not have the tasting abilities of a master somm. That doesn't mean everything tastes the same just because they can't blindly pick the differences.

Domestic light beer drinkers who refuse to drink like brands?

I think it's pretty funny. I know a ton of people who are like this. My dad was a Bud Light drinker, and my uncles and grandpaw are Coors Light drinkers. They wouldn't drink each others beers, and would make fun of each other for drinking "gross" beer. I'm not typically a domestic light beer drinker, but when in Rome I'll drink any of them. They all taste like shite, but they are easy to put down.

I’ll never understand people that drink that shite, especially when the US is in a renaissance as far as good beers go. Definitely the best / most diverse / flavorful beer drinking country in the world. And yet people drink bud/miller/coors

Take it to extremes. You like chocolate and hate licorice can you still say you hate licorice if you can't tell the difference between the two?

Coke isnt Pepsi, not sure if I even accept a free pepsi if offered

But, I'm a craft guy beer snob, yet if someone offers me free beer domestic or otherwise then I'm not being picky. Esp if there were 3 other crafts on the free menu.

Sounds like a douche move, but to each his own

You're not correct, so why would I do that?

They don't taste similar, so no that example is shite.

Thats just wrong. If you would have said Bud Light was too sweet that would have made more sense.

Make him do a blind taste test.

We had a Schlitz rep do that to us in college. He had a "free beer" afternoon and bet us we couldn't pick out which was Bud, Miller, and Schlitz. We picked the right beer every time.

Of the those I'd prefer Coors or Miller over Bud Light. Bud Light has always had a "what piss would taste like" flavor to me.

it's a perfect example considering this is what people say about their preference vs the others.
