Anyone that lives alone have a dog that is kinda keeping them company and enterainment? Got a dog recently and it was perfect timing. I get enjoyment just drinking my Evan Williams and her go eat junebugs at night. It is kinda of something that seems small but helps keep me company!

Outside of hunting and working, that’s kind of the point!

My Boxer made 8 in December
She’s getting old & slow, doesn’t play much & no longer wants to go for walks
The quarantine makes me want a puppy

ETA
My mom said her puppy eats June bugs like popcorn

So classic, love it. I have a springer spaniel that does the same when I’m grilling outside. No birds for her to chase at night so junebugs get harassed instead. Solid entertainment haha.

Border Collie... ..13 years.. - more intelligent, well mannered, considerate, and better behaved in general than a large number of humans in society.

10 year old mastiff mix and an almost 10 year old lab mix. They’ve loved having me home the past few weeks. We’re taking lots of naps and playing in the back yard. A few walks but they don’t need as many in their older age. They get enough energy out running around the back yard.

Our demand to know why we need to go to the grocery store or run any kind of errand and are quite vocal about it now. They are spoiled rotten by our being home all the time.

Anyone else remember before global warming when we had to wait until June to get June bugs?

My Aussie is probably the only reason I haven’t killed myself in quarantine. His is the only face I see most days.

Dogs>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Humans

And it's not even fricking close either. Dogs are awesome. Humans are awful.
