Thoughts on this?

GF lets her dog sleep in the bed (haha insert joke here). He lays next to her, on her, everything. She is staying over at my place most of the time and I prefer that. I stayed at her place a couple times and didnt care for it because we sleep with the dog Maximus there. Bed is crowded and each time either she or I woke up with a dog laying on our faces. She finds it to be adorable.

Girl wants to bring dog overnight to my place. Trying to convince her to have dog sleep in his own bed on floor. This is a big issue for her.

Is this a losing battle? Should I even try and go to war over this or just let the dog sleep with us and lay on us?

I personally would not want a dog sleeping in my bed.

Do you value the relationship past this point?

I let my dog sleep in the bed, but if someone I was dating didn't like that, I'd make the dog sleep on the floor. The world wouldn't end. That it's a big issue for her makes me think she might be one of those "fur baby" types.

Try not to keep in mind that whatever the dog is lying on (pillow, bedspread, etc), so is it's mangy butthole.

My old boxer (rip) had his own bed besides mine, would only get in the bed for naps.

Our lives are blending more and more. She's moving stuff into my place. We may get married.

Should I try to wait it out until dog is dead?
