My dog sleeps on the ground next to me. He's not allowed in the bed, on the couch, anything...those things were designed for people, not animals

You need a new girlfriend. A clean one without a dog.

Each to his own. I don't have a problem with it. But it's your house your rules, if you don't want the dog on the bed she has to understand if she don't well that's another decision you have to make..

Our 75 lb. goldendoodle sleeps in our king size bed. We love it. He sleeps parallel to use usually in between us at first, then balls up at the end of the bed after an hour or so. Bed is big and wife is tiny, so it really isn't crowded.

But I totally get why other people wouldn't like it. To each his own.

Does she keep a fresh jug of creamy jiff on the night stand, or is she the crunchy type?

Since it appears that sleeping with a dogs arse in your face is something you do not enjoy,
Do Not,under any circumstances, allow the dog in either bed ever again !

Problem solved

In the winter or during bad weather my lab will come sleep in the bed with the wife and I. You can feel that big boy plop down right on my legs and then my 22 lb cat comes to lay next to him. My little girl kitty will head butt us until she can kneed on my arm pits with full claws extended. If you wake them up the cat cries wanting water out of the bathroom faucet, my girl kitty wants to sniff my other cats butt while drinking water, and my lab wines wanting to play.

I don't need an alarm clock. My little girl kitty makes her round around 4:30 am like clockwork walking over both of us until we get up. If I don't get up my big baby kitty 22 lbs will pound on the shower door or meow real loud. Then my lab will jump on the bed with his chew toy and trying to lick my face.

In the summer my little girl kitty 10lbs will lay with both of us. My big baby lab and big baby kitty only 22 lbs lays on the floor next to our bed.

Is this a losing battle? Should I even try and go to war over this or just let the dog sleep with us and lay on us?
