If your dog is diabetic it would be a good idea to board somewhere that has a veterinary team, not just a boarding facility

Lucky dog lodge in prairieville. Boarded our pup there recently and was very pleased with the facility and price.

I don’t want her locked in a cage all day.
Those are 4 feet by 17 feet with about a third of the area inside and 2/3 outside.
The dog can stay inside or go outside at their on choosing. There are plastic 'slats' that separate the indoor from the outdoor part of the room.
They also have what they call "luxury suites" which most people who live in Third World countries (or Mississippi) would be envious of.
Here is a link to their boarding website.

I agree but I want her to be pampered while I'm away. She loves playing with other dogs and I was going to start bringing her a few times a month during the day.

I will do it for $5 less than whatever price you find.
I have two dogs and a backyard he can run around in.

well, apparently Camp Bow Wow does not administer any meds with needles.

I used to use Camp Bow Wow but no longer. My dog is super excited when around other dogs, to the point of non stop play. I'm not sure they force breaks. It seems they just put similar size dogs in a corral and only watch for fighting at which point they squirt them with water bottle a few times before separating. They care but they just dont seem to be capable of handling the volume. Its probably 1 worker to 30+ dogs.
The last straw was my dog contracted kennel cough on last visit and turned into a canine pneumonia. Apparently the vaccine is like getting flu vaccine.
Now I have a developed relationship with several Rover sitters. If you have the means, Rover is by far the better for making sure your dog is in familiar setting with familiar routine.

Not in this case.

Camp bow wow is the answer, but you will have to do a trial run before you leave her.

last year this happened at pretty much every dog care place.
that shite is so easily transmitted it's crazy. A dog could walk past another dog at petsmart and get it.

Well, i guess they aren't the answer. I know someone who works there and they said nothing with needles.

Some of the veterinary hospitals that offer boarding will pamper your pets just as much as the boarding exclusive businesses
You should take a tour of some or just start w trying a day of playcare
Camp Bow wow runs a great playcare but there are veterinary hospitals in the area that offer these services that are just as good or better

Dog Daycares are really concentration camps for dogs. If only y’all realized what goes on once you leave your pet at the daycare...
Tell me what you think happens at dog daycare, I'd love to know

He doesn't have a clue. Just spewing nonsense.
