Monday is trash day in my neighborhood. I get home from work and roll the trash can back in and notice a terrible odor. Open the empty dump to find a bag of what I assume to be canine feces.

It's one thing to throw your dog's excrement in a trash that's awaiting pickup, but what kind of sociopath throws it in my otherwise empty dump that will not be emptied until next Monday?

Sad day.

A lot of dog walking traffic in my neighborhood and as long as the poop is bagged and tied I don’t seem to mind.

Some dog owners also think it appropriate to discard into debris piles, which I can somewhat understand. However, the remnants of a yard debris pile that has been already hauled off is not okay IMO.

Yea, since this one thing happened to you this one time, I think it’s certainly more than fair to generalize all dog owners based on your neighbor’s dog marking his territory in your area because he knows you’re not an alpha and doesn’t respect you as a man.

I said CAN be. Just think it's in poor taste.

I'm often tempted but I never do it.

If someone did it to me (bagged and tied) I don't think I'd care.

Sorry, it's his trashcan now. If you want it back, you know what you gotta do.

The garbage men might have put it back too. I have had them leave small bags or loose trash in cans before.

Contact the authorities. Ask them if they’ll come out and do prints on the bag.

It’s not okay to let you dog shite in others peoples yard

It’s not okay to throw your dogs shite in other people’s trash cans.

It’s your dog, use your yard and your garbage cans.

I get tired as shite people using my yard as their own personal dog park.

I’ve actaly had to tell one lady that walks her 3 dogs 18 times a day to keep her dogs off my lawn because they urinate and shite, and even though she picks up the shite, the urine burns the grass and the dogs peel out and make holes and patches on the lawn.

Dogs are fricking aggravating. Some dog owners are even worse.
When Im walking downtown or in the park or wherever, people expect you to slob all over their dog just because its cute.

Get that stinky disgusting thing away from me.

Trash can out in front of the yard is not consider your property but public property. Thus cops and anyone else can go through any trash left at the curb with no warrant needed

I've come to learn that a lot of inconsiderate shite people do is more from a place of ignorance than malice. Doesn't make the person less of an idiot for doing that, but chances are it was some young girl who wouldn't even think of how that would affect the person who deals with the trash can.

May have even thought she was doing something good by picking it up/putting it in your can and not leaving it in your yard.

People tend to be clueless.
