Dog DNA Tests to see your mutt's background

TL;DR - did a dog DNA test on my new mixed breed puppy, see below for pics and breed results
Anyone else try this lately? There were some threads on this several years back, but I just recently tried this with my new pup I adopted from Companion Animal Alliance. From the brief research I did, there seem to be two main companies that do this: Embark and Wisdom Panel. I went with Wisdom Panel. You get some swabs and a bag in the mail, swab the dog's cheeks, and send it back. Took about 3 weeks from the day I put it back in the mail.
The test claims to trace breed lineage to the dog's great grandparents. If your dog descends from a long line of mutts, there's the possibility that the test will give you some percentage of "breed groups" that can't pinpoint exact breeds but give you an idea of the breed types (for example, my dog's test came back with 25% "Terrier and Companion" breed groups). The other 75% included definitive breeds.
It would be pretty difficult to prove accuracy/consistency without buying multiple kits and repeating the test, using more than one company, etc., and mutts can have genes from wildly different breeds but show no physical attributes because the genes aren't expressed. But for whatever it's worth, my test results seemed plausible, and I wasn't required to provide a photo.
She's about 4-5 months old and 25 lbs.
EDIT: Some fairly accurate guesses. Here are the real results:

I got one done on my Irish Setter. Results came back and said he was a German Shepard. He has some explaining to do.

So pay money to hand my dogs dna over to the government? No thank you.

Also, your dog is definitely 50% pit. I can see it in his eyes.

50% Jack Russell Terrier
12.5% Beagle
12.5% Staffordshire Bull Terrier

You can rest easy knowing he’ll only maim a toddler rather than kill them.

The last apartment complex where I lived REQUIRED canine dna from all residents who had dogs. That was they could find (and fine) the guilty party who pooped on the flowers.

Nice. She is 50% American Staffordshire Terrier.
One of the 12.5% segments is very visible from the spots on her fur. The other 12.5% is out of left field.
The shelter thought she was part Catahoula, but not according to the test.

Was thinking about doing this but will give the OT the first crack at it.
He’s about 4 months old here
Our guess is shepherd (Australian maybe) and lab

I am curious about my rescue mutt's lineage, but not that curious.
Also curious how pure our chihuahua is... but not that curious.
I'd rather spend the money on whiskey and beer. The dogs will love me just the same.

Our vet recommended doing this for our dog. By knowing the promenient breeds, you can know what conditions your pup might be predisposed to
