You read a story on the internet and the person writing the story says “So and so post this on X formally known as twitter “
What kind of person don’t know by now X is formally twitter ?
It’s been 2 or 3 years .
I can understand the first 3 or 4 months .
Can we drop the formally part and just say X?

Ya know, something that confuses me just a tad about the platform rebrand is this. The platform is called "X", but you still "tweet" and "retweet" on it. With the rebrand, shouldn't it be "X" and "re-X"? Can someone explain that to me?

There was a radio station in Houston when I lived there called “the new 93Q” bc the format had changed. 15 years years later they were still saying “new 93Q.” Made zero sense. Kinda like the “new bridge” in BR. wtf
