Idk, maybe cook the shite yourself. My wife does most of the cooking, but there are certain meals/items that I always do the cooking for. My wife absolutely does not burn bacon, but I tend to cook that more often than she does.

Tell her not to preheat the pan. Put the bacon in a cold pan then heat. Or use the oven.

Don't know why it took me so long to go this route, but about 6 months ago it was the best bacon decision I've ever made. Never going back to the pan, perfect bacon every damn time. Line the baking sheet with foil and its the easiest clean up as well.

Really, I'm just ragging on her. She tries to get all the fat out of it. She doesn't like for me to cook it, because I cook it in lard. Get it just right and drain it on paper towels. She thinks that's wrong. Maybe it is, but it's some damn good bacon.
