That was 2007.
Here's a more recent list, from 2013. It's on Wikipedia, but the data is from the American Association of Port Authorities.
South Louisiana is #1, Houston is #2.
5 of the top 12 are in Louisiana, and yet this state is still a shithole... dammit.

You're comparing 2 different things. The port of south LA is the busiest in terms of tonnage.

The busiest in terms of how much product is going through is south LA by far. Houston is second.
You're using TEUs which just means the container.

Gumbo is, unequivocally, a stew. It is a stew in that okra is supposed to be stewed. It is a stew in that roux is used to thicken and flavor the juices from the meats and vegetables. It is a stew in that it is commonly served with a mashed potato product.

That’s almost exactly backwards. It is a regional celebration in Mexico which was co-opted by American beer companies to create demand for their product. That plan worked beautifuly. For another example, see St Patrick’s Day.
