If it is your absolute best friend, Yeah I can see where you are coming from.
I will say this, one of my best friends for years recently got married. I made the assumption that I would be a part of his wedding, only because I know without a question he has a spot in mine. When he asked me to be an escort, I was shocked beyond belief. A big slap in the face and dose of reality at the same time. I politely declined, attended his wedding, and it has never been mentioned since. I reckon accepting things like this is just part of being a man, as we are not supposed to get caught up in emotion like our female counterpart.

If a good friend of mine ever used the term "bff" let alone label me their "bff", that friend would move way down the ranks.
