My first thought was "what a ridiculous question," but I googled and it actually could be a symptom LINK
But the more likely answer is he was nervous and/or coked up.

Acute Googlitis is a life-threatening condition. My wife and I caught mono at the same exact time (probably from our bar hopping a few weeks prior), I googled and I was certain I was married to a cheating biotch and had HIV.
