Does anyone think the Corona virus aftermath may leave some positive effects on the world?

I know sanitation, personal hygiene, and cleanliness will never be underestimated again.

Less old people.
Hopefully we stop relying on China for all of our manufacturing and bring some jobs back to the states.

Sure. I think anything that the nation/world goes through there is always something to learn from it. That in itself will have a positive effect (or less of a negative effect) for future events.

Hopefully.
Maybe we can end this “obesity is good” insanity.

Can we give covid-19 to obese people and let it do the rest?

Yeah, right. Nasty motherfrickers will be back to not washing their hands and the chinese will be back to eating rodents in short order.

Unfortunately, people have short memories and will buy based on price. As long as something made in China will sell for $1 less than the American version, a large % of the population will still buy the cheaper one.

I'm hoping that we end up with a completely new Capitol Hill.

I'm sure those who didn't wash their hands before will return to not washing their hands after one or two months when things go back to normal.
As far as the world, as clean as it's becoming now and less pollution, it'll go back up once traveling and trade commence. Biggest question is how long will that be before things are back to normal.

Hoping at the very least that employees who are getting the privilege of remote work will be productive, and more companies will realize the value in virtual tech.
