I recently purchased a GW-M5610-1B.

I'm trying to find black buttons for it.

I see where some can swap over from others, just wondering if anyone has a model to reference.

And for those about to laugh at it being a casio, I've broken every other daily beater brand

I had a G9000-MS I wore daily from damn near 2010-2019. Was a champ. Got an Apple Watch otherwise it’s still going strong with 1 battery change.

I have two Master of G Casio watches, a Mudmaster and a Rangeman. They are tanks. As far as everyday watches go I don’t understand why anyone would shite on a G-Shock.

I’m on my 2nd G Shock in about 20 years and both are still “ticking”. If you want an inexpensive watch that you never have to worry about, this is it !
They are probably made in China, so there’s that.

Casios in general are some tough watches. I totally agree.

Would not shite on them but I am just not a fan of them newfangled electronic digital watches, heck it might electocute you if you get it wet.

Give me an old school timex over them any day

Already purchased a conversion to a Zulu strap, and the ultimate goal is to have a watch that is not flashy.

Do they make a version with the same durability but without all the graphics and excessive displays? And with a display large enough that an old farsighted boomer can read without wearing his cheaters?

Owned this for 4 or 5 years now. It's been an absolute tank. I got an Apple Watch and until it went kaput this was an everyday wear for me regardless of the situation. Once the Apple Watch took over for a year or two it was still the weekend watch. Once the Apple crapped out, I went back to Old Faithful here. Wear it with formalwear. Wear it to work. Wear it to exercise. Wear it to fish. Wear it to drink. IDGAF because I can probably get killed in a missle strike and this thing will probably survive.

Casio's G-Shocks are tanks.

Dang, that’s a sharp looking watch. Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for it? Looks like a very durable watch that I could wear

Is it waterproof? This would be very useful for when I go sword fishing. Thanks

There's a watch brand for daily beaters? Shouldn't they call it D-SHOCK?
