Just ran across this concept and pretty much is exactly what I've been searching for years now. Some of it gets ridiculous IMO, but the minimalist ones are legit. Video on exactly how it works is below...

I use a legal pad and a Col. Littleton #18 portfolio. I still have testosterone though.

I'm not talking about the actual gear or hardware, but rather the systematic process

No. I'm a manchild and rarely write anything down.

Yep. Every morning when I get to the site I write out a basic list of short term problems that need to be addressed that day.
Any long term issues are written on a separate list at the top of the page. In a perfect world, the short term list eventually takes care of the long term problems.

Get a Day Runner Two-Pages-Per-Day Planner. It's set up on the same concept.
It's what I use, but I don't really use the system. I should, but just can't train myself to do it. It's just great having a ton of space to write stuff down.
The guy who had my job before me got cancer and passed away, and he left his notes for the guys I work for to help them out on some stuff. He used the system. I've read through his planner a few times, and it's the most organized thing I've ever seen.

I used a modified version of one. I've been doing so for the past six months.

That's what secretaries are for. And they give blowjobs.

Used this for a few years, but I'm currently not in a position where I need to track things as such so I'm no longer doing it. It's a good system if you keep bringing your todo items forward so they don't get lost. I used my own homegrown system prior to this, and I think the bullet journal helped tighten it up better. One of my colleagues also started doing it as well and he wrote a medium post about his experiences, I'll see if I can find it.

Turns out it was a LinkedIn post, thus I had a hard time finding it.

Is there an app for this yet? This concept is 400% more valuable if the entry data is stored in a relational database.
