This is the code I live by

Only criticize folks behind their back. Much less confrontational that way.

Don't judge people dealing with shite

Try to make someone smile every day

You find peace or success by adapting, not adopting hard fast rules.

Never date/marry a girl who wears bigger pants than you

Meh, one of the rules I live by would probably give me a ban if I said it, so I will paraphrase:

Don't buy scalped tickets (or anything for that matter) from the first scalper you see.

Most important rule I have though:

Try and make a positive impact on everyone I come into contact with.

Also:

Don't be contemptuous prior to investigation

If you say you’re going to do something, you better do it. A man’s word is very important in life.

Never miss a chance to shut up, but if you speak, speak honestly and forthrightly. Tell the truth not your truth.
