My neighbor used to do it as a side hustle and she did mine and it’s worked well for me.

Just fill it up with meaningless phrases, buzzwords and double speak,. Then list your pronouns and you should be knocking down six figures in no time.

I did it once just to see what they would do. I took some of their changes and blended them with mine. People have always complimented me on my resume, but it’s good to get a different perspective

I just find a great resume example online and substitute my info. The cover letter is where you want to wow them IMO

Agree. Research the company and tailor your resume to that firm.

I didn’t use a resume writing service but I did get feedback from professional headhunters who posted jobs online. They pre screen before submitting you to clients so they know what their clients are looking for. One of them explained what was missing in my resume. After I fixed my resume, got a lot more calls on the applications I submitted myself.

I can truthfully say I’ve literally never had a problem finding a job. I’m in insurance and I’m a college graduate in a field of mostly college dropouts and football players who didn’t make it in the NFL though, so it’s not difficult to impress hiring managers .

to me the resume should be a list of you experience and accomplishments. That alone should make you stand out. Unless you are absolutely terrible at writing a resume, I cant see how a service would make you look any better

Many templates available on a google search.

Last I wrote mine up the trend was "keep it simple" keep it to one page. My understanding is this goes back and forth.

Just remember its a Resume' NOT an Application.

CSB...I reached out to someone I usually got along well with in regional type meetings about an opportunity with our company. I simply asked him to shoot me his resume as there seemed like a mutual interest. He said to let him update it and would send my way.

Two weeks went by and it appeared he was having a tough time getting it updated and finalized as he was going through some service for the review process.

I took it as a sign that this guy prob wasn’t very good at getting simple tasks completed, was higher maintenance than I thought, and basically told him at that point we had made an offer to another candidate.

One of the few perks of being a BRCC alumni is that they'll review and critique my resume. I think lsu and mcneese will as well but they don't email me about it constantly
