Does anyone enjoy getting up early?

I know it may sound preposterous to some, but do any of you actually enjoy getting up early? For me, it's typically the only couple hours of the day I have to myself and am able to be in solitude.
I enjoy putting on some nice relaxing music like Duke Ellington, making a pot of piping hot coffee, having a couple of biscuits and jam or honey while I read the morning news and prepare for the day ahead of me.

Yes. Het more out of your day.
Have to deal with less people in general.

No. Getting up at oh dark thirty sucks.
But I DO love not fighting traffic on my commute and getting a jump on the day.
Balances out.

Early mornings before my husband and kids get up are glorious. However, I'm lucky if I get 30 minutes to myself and most of that time is spent cooking them breakfast or packing lunches for the day. Go figure.

Love it. Just got back from breakfast. Walked through downtown St. Pete almost entirely by myself(nobody is ever up early around here). Threw on some CCR for the walk and got to steppin'. I love the slow pace of the early morning.

The first 10 minutes are hell, after that I can agree that it's comforting, get some stuff done at your own pace and prepare for the day ahead

Not I.
I rather work 2hrs later for free than come in anytime before 7.
The fckkers who get to work super early are usually the slower ones in the office and also waste their morning drinking coffee talking about deh gays and damn Obama.

love it. Gym at 5am M-F, great feeling finishing up a workout while most folks are just waking up.

Yep, my sober life I didnt know all the stuff I missed fricked up. Sit out back, drink coffee, get about 4 hours work done in a hour. Get breakfast ready for my kids. Hard to imagine all the stuff I missed in addiction.
