Does anyone else have experience with “twice buyers” at convenience stores?

You are behind them, they complete their transaction and you are ready to step up.
They then ask to purchase something else, usually behind the counter and an entirely new transaction begins.
I’ve also noticed a similar thing where 3 or 4 people are obviously together and in the same car and make every $3.35 purchase separately.

No but I always seem to get stuck behind people buying lotto tickets

Why do people get so worked up about such petty things. Is life that really that miserable that you let things like this get to you?

This, after having ben asked, "Will that be all for you?" by the cashier.

Yes, and it really pisses me off.

I like when they have to figure out which lottery card/game they want.
Add 30 seconds, then take out the old ones to see if they’ve won anything.
One card won $15.
Pick a few more games with the winnings.
Oh, and a pack of Virginia Slim 100’s.
Turn around to people waiting and tell a terrible joke/nobody laughs.
Leaves smiling.

I do this sometimes at WalMarks if I want to get out a couple hundred cash ($100 limit per transaction).
I also do this at Starbucks to get the bonus stars when they have the "buy shite 6x in the next 4 days" promotions.
Not a stoner so I don't do it at the convenience store.

Not my fault the Liquid arse was partially hidden before concluding my first transaction.

Why do you have a problem with people paying for their own stuff?

No, but in a fit of desperation yesterday, I went to a KMart. We were running late for a birthday party and the wife (no pics) neglected to buy a card to put with the kid's present. 2 registers open, at least 5 people in each line, took 19 minutes to get through the line.
How that chain has not gone under is beyond me.

What do you expect, me to pay for Demario’s black & milds?

I haven't been in a convenience store in years.

If I have 59 cents left over from my transaction, who are you to tell me that I can't spend it on some candy?
