Does anyone else get unexplainably fascinated by looking down into another place?

I’m talking about perspective. You are up higher but looking down into a place you have been before but it is like you are removed from what is going on. But you could go there again.

One of the most fascinating/satisfying things to me is going out all day in a city, then having a balcony/view over that city. Something about having individual small experiences in bars and places then viewing the entire city buzzing as one experience. ....I dig it
