Until you have been in an ICU putting a breathing tube in someone who is dying you can't understand.

I have done this 14 times and 13 of those people died. It was last March and part of April.

We are starting to see a lot more cases now but not nearly as many deaths.

You know, even with these repetitive calls, Medicare will not reimburse a DME company for a walker, wheelchair, or powered mobility device without very specific and proper documentation. It’s a real travesty.

Wait. Medicare will pay for multiple turnipectomies?

The ICU is always a room full of death. Covid hasn’t changed that

Doctors are quite busy people.
Interesting that he only found time to post 6 times in 8 years, but can break away from being swamped with crono patients to post this now.

Actually no. Not 14 times in a little over a month. All dying of the same thing.

There have been a little over 9000 covid deaths of people 40 or under in this country since last February.

I bet if we wait long enough, we can find OT doctors who were involved in at least 6000 of them.

Overall health of them, sans Covid? Do they have any pre-existing conditions?

Are they overweight?

I'm not really sure but I spoke with one of our Pulmonologist today and he said the vast majority are unvaccinated.

I'm in anesthesia and volunteered to work in the unit last year when they stopped all elective cases. It was terrible. I.have a lot more respect for the ICU nurses than ever hefore. All I did was intubate, start a-lines and central lines on those patients. They were there with them patients 24/7.

Board up immediately then and stay home, or take a short walk off the side of one of the bridges and never have to fear it again
