When was the first time you were nervous? Because if it was 2020 then I’ll probably not change any of my habits.

My father in law is a doctor, you’re not kidding. Someone came to him one time because they “fell” on a turnip in their garden and it went up their butt. He got it out, then that same person came back LATER THAT DAY with a turnip stuck up their arse and they said they fell again.

True story... My wife had a patient with a mustard bottle up his arse. Frenches to be exact. Guy didn't have a car so he rode his bike to the ER.

Until you have been in an ICU putting a breathing tube in someone who is dying you can't understand.

I have done this 14 times and 13 of those people died. It was last March and part of April.

Anyone from a medical perspective well BEFORE the delta variant knew that once you went on the vent you were more than likely gone

Yes delta is more transmissible, but dont make it out like its a new monster out there

A lot of dormant TD accounts coming out the last few days. All doctors or medical professionals and all with the same story.

I'm now convinced the situation is dire. You guys obviously save your posts for the important stuff.

Overall health of them, sans Covid? Do they have any pre-existing conditions?

Are they overweight?

Most had other co-morbidities. Almost all were overweight but we did have one 18 year old completely healthy soccer player die.

The ICU is always a room full of death. Covid hasn’t changed that

This fact escapes some who claim to be high IQ.
If you are in an ICU, you have a major problem, regardless of whether you got there from a car wreck, gunshot, heart attack, or the super mega Delta crono.

You had one of only 376 covid deaths in the entire country for 18 and under

That’s some bad juju

That’s the great thing about doctors, if you don’t like one’s opinion just find another

Medical ICU: Yes this is correct

Surgical ICU:. Most people get better and leave the unit.

Interesting. Your bio says you live in Ocean Springs. You claim you have been around 13 CV deaths, one of which was an 18 year old.

There have been zero CV deaths in Jackson county since last week and 251 total since covid inception. So based on your claim, you’ve seen 5% of all covid deaths in Jackson county in just one week?

LINK

And 2 weeks ago, there were only 2 new CV deaths in Jackson county.

South Mississippi had 17 COVID deaths in people aged 18-24. So yes it was very bad.

Absolutely. The cost of a persistent vegetative state is way higher.

1). Lower your risk of severe disease
2). Lower your risk of transmission
3). Lower your risk of spreading to others you are in close contact.
4). Lower your risk of death.
5). Lower other’s risk of death.
6). Lower other’s risk of severe disease.
7). Staying healthy and productive by lowering your risk of the above.
8). Keeping hospital beds and ICU beds open for shite we fix on the regular anyway.
9). Just to be a good human and respect others.

But, you do you. Rock on.

You did not read my post apparently. I said this happened last March and part of April 2019. I said we are now seeing more cases but not seeing as many deaths.
